Created in 2022, Florida Futbol Club is a new development club rising within a market avid of new options such as Florida and, more precisely, Miami.
FFC is, basically, the work of Omar Estrada Soto, a former Professional soccer player with over 16 years of sport experience while representing his native country, Ecuador, and several top tier clubs like Liga de Quito or Centro Deportivo Olmedo. He played at the national and international level including the U17, U20 and U23 Ecuador's National Team.
And Fernando Guimaraens, former professional player for Velez Sarsfield in his native country, Argentina, where he forged his skills as a responsible and dedicated project generator. Organization and teamwork are fundamental in his way of working.
Guimaraens also worked on the creation of the Florida Soccer Soldiers, one of the most respected teams in the region.
Through them, Florida Futbol Club will focus on the development of young talents.
“I have known Diego Hurtado (Diaza’s Founder) for many years, we share many experiences on and off the field and I know the passion he puts to lead Diaza. When the possibility of having our own team arose, there was no doubt regarding the company that would dress us”, explained Guimareans.
Florida Futbol Club is competing in Division I of the UPSL Florida and planning includes starting the development of a youth academy and a women's team in the coming months.

The conceptual idea that generates the colors of the club and the designs start from a point as simple as significant: the union between the colors of Argentina and Ecuador, countries that represent the creators of the organization.
In this way Diaza was able to capture the sportsmanship and tradition of South American football into the two jerseys designs for 2023.
